Built Green sees dip in Calgary enrolments, in line with less new construction

While fewer homes in the Calgary area have been enrolled in the Built Green Canada program this year, the setback can be linked to factors impacting the housing market, overall, says its CEO.
Builders can look to earn certification for energy efficiency for their homes through this national, industry-driven program, based on the materials and methods that go into the build.
There were 498 single-family homes and seven high-density homes in the Calgary area enrolled between Jan. 1 and the end of June, says Built Green.
